Leading solutions and waste heat recovery
atNorth's first data centre in Denmark is located in Ballerup, Greater Copenhagen. The first phase was commissioned in Q4 2025 after an efficient build period of just 12 months.
With a capacity of 30 MW for high-intensity workloads, DEN 01 is equipped with market-leading technology for waste heat recovery. All surplus heat is recirculated through the district heating network, supplying both heating and hot water to surrounding communities.
DEN 01 also supports Direct Liquid Cooling (DLC), enabling targeted and concentrated cooling in particularly demanding zones — creating optimal conditions for HPC and AI workloads at high energy efficiency.
Denmark's data centre market is a core part of the Nordic region — one of Europe's fastest-growing non-FLAP markets — offering ready access to clean and cost-effective energy, strong connectivity and carbon-free power.
