A LONG-STANDING PARTNERSHIP
Søren Jensen has served as the in-house engineering consultant to Aarhus University since the company was founded in 1955.
Over the years, we have refurbished and redeveloped approximately 200,000 m² of university buildings.
Our work has encompassed a broad range of building types and applications, from Education facilities, sports halls, offices and auditoria to highly specialised research laboratories.
The projects have ranged from small-scale assignments to major developments, including the design of data centres, cleanroom laboratories, accelerators and other critical systems.
In addition, we have been involved in New build projects, refurbishments and redevelopments of auditoria, offices and student accommodation.
A SELECTION OF PROJECTS
• Refurbishment and redevelopment of Parkkollegiet to modern standards. One residence hall at a time was taken out of Operations and completely refurbished. The overall programme comprised 502 rooms across nine residence halls, totalling approximately 14,000 m².
• New laboratory and office building, AU FOOD, at Agro Food Park in Skejby, comprising approximately 5,000 m².
• Data centre for cloud computing and research. Tier II classification, capacity of 375 kW and 55 racks. High-security facility with security level 50S.
• Refurbishment and redevelopment of office and Education facilities.
• Comprehensive refurbishment and redevelopment of numerous laboratory buildings and laboratories.
• Upgrading and energy optimisation of existing auditoria and the establishment of new auditoria.
• Establishment of backbone Infrastructure across a network exceeding 120,000 metres.
• Establishment of an interpretation laboratory.
• Replacement of more than 150 extract fans with high-efficiency fans equipped with energy-saving motors.
• Replacement of electrical switchboards, ventilation systems, domestic water heat exchangers and heating mixing loops across various buildings.
